When to use which platform

Weekends are good for food delivery because there is no twice daily rush hour. Also the base fare and tips seem to be higher.

During week days the following times work for me. It may be different for you -

3am to 7am: UberEats has low-mid paying offers Doordash doesn't seem to have consistent offers at this time. Accept any offer since there are less offers available during these hours.

7am to 10am : rush hour, do not waste your time, do something else (nap/sleep/cook/housework)

10am to 3pm : Doordash exclusively. UberEats has only low paying offers. Only accept a high paying offer from UberEats.

3pm to 6pm : rush hour again, do something else 

6pm to 10pm : Doordash exclusively because decent offers, or UberEats only if you receive a decent offer

10pm to 3am : sleep

Tip #1 : Doordash pays way better than UberEats for me. But it doesn't have much work during the night. So work for UberEats during nighttime hours, and Doordash during the day.

Tip #2 : Often you will make a delivery out of your chosen Doordash delivery zone and they will not make you offers unless you get back within the zone, or end the "dash" and start a new dash in the new zone. However it is not always busy in the new zone and it will not allow you to dash, saying to schedule a dash for later. In this case turn on your UberEats and you will get an offer almost immediately. Only accept the offer of it takes you back (or close) to your current Doordash delivery zone.
