Resist the temptation to turn across parking lots at red signals

You can get fined by your local government or traffic authority if you cut through parking lots, especially gas stations. So just don't do it.

Cameras will easily catch your license plate and then you are at the mercy of the business as to whether they report it. So unless you are stopping and buying something from a store, do not cut through private property. All that will happen is that the next red signal will get you.
