Often as you have finished a drop-off and begin driving again, you will receive another offer. The system detects if you are close to a pickup and sends you the offer.
And occasionally you will be required to make an immediate turn into a side road or side street in order to prevent a large driving distance and a u-turn etc especially if you are on a main road.
If you accept the offer and then miss your immediate turn you will end up late for the pickup and it will go against your record for around 100 deliveries, after which the instance is erased.
In the case where you have accepted an offer and you feel you will be considerably late for the pickup due to taking a wrong turn, rush hour traffic etc, it is advisable to cancel the pickup and go on to the next one.
Yes the cancellation will also count towards your cancellation count but at least the customer will not get their food super late.
