How to take a photo for confirmation of delivery

When you have delivered your order, the app will ask you to confirm that the delivery has been completed. Sometimes you will be asked to take a picture from within the app and or write where you left the order.

Firstly place the delivery in a secure spot so that it doesn't fall. Next move away a few feet only and take a picture of the delivered item with apartment or house number.

Don't go into the street and take a pic from there as it will not look proper. If the apartment or house number cannot be fitted in the photo, that is no problem. A simple pic showing the delivered item from a few feet away is sufficient.

Sometimes a customer will meet you at the door or lobby. In this case, take a quick pic of some random thing and in the notes write "handed to customer".

If the app doesn't ask you to submit a verification photo of the delivered order, use your personal camera app to still take a photo should there be some issue about the delivery.

In conclusion, remember to do all the steps needed to protect yourself by having evidence of your hard work. Don't leave it up another party such as the customer, restaurant or even delivery app to always see it your way. Evidence of your deliveries is vital.

If you receive too many "not delivered" notices your account could be deactivated by the app. When you have evidence, you can always call in and request to have the dispute resolved by submitting your evidence if necessary.
